Energia

“Energia” is all about capturing the essence of energy and spirit, blending mind, body and soul through a vibrant explosion of color and paint. It’s an extension of Isabella Boorman’s cosmic, large-scale paintings, using the seven chakra colors to symbolize the energy centers of the human body. Through abstract forms and dynamic brushstrokes, she explores the freedom and flow of bodily movement and creative expression. What makes “Energia” even more special is its connection to Venice, a city that holds a dear place in Isabellas’s heart. She’s embedded Venetian details into the design, like the numerals ‘CMXXXVI’ marking the founding date of La Chiesa dell’Abbazia della Misericordia. She’s incorporated precious Murano glass, crystals, stones and shells she collected by hand from the Venetian Lido. At the center of the piece is the deep blue ‘Third Eye’ chakra, symbolizing intuition and inner knowing, covered with a cosmic star inspired by the Basilica di San Marco and Torre dell’Orologio. These glasses are genderless, representing a higher human spirit and energy that transcends societal constraints. All materials are sourced sustainably from Venice and Brighton, the cities closest to her heart.
