This artwork features a variety of symbols: hummingbirds local to Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta celebrated for their unique colors, the endangered poison dart frog of Chocó known for its vibrant and luminous hues, the Amazon jaguar captured through its eyes and orchids, all showcased in their diverse forms, colors and exquisite beauty.
