Karima Al Shomely has taken this labor and incorporated it into her artwork “Talli Sunglasses.”
Talli bands are woven into the frame, forming a modern and timeless repetitive pattern.
When worn, it almost looks like a golden crown, reminiscent of the regal crowns worn by queens and princesses.
