Mohamadou Ndoye, known as ‘Ndoye Douts’, is a Senegalese artist born in Sangalkam in 1973 and graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Dakar, specialising in Plastic Art and Painting. The themes of his works mainly deal with working-class neighbourhoods in their architectural disorder, with a focus on chaos and the accumulation of subjects. His painting explores and transfigures these varied interweavings of forms, materials and colours, the reciprocal contaminations between architecture and life, where the lines surrounding the city stretch and seem to float in space.
