Yin Love

“Yin Love” is a blend of memories and creativity, crafted with acrylic paints, pencils, cardboard and papers, among other materials. Various elements in this artwork were meticulously selected for their meaning and the personal significance they hold for the artist, Yin Lu. To mention a few: the poker cards evoke the artist’s cherished family moments from childhood; the Yin and Yang, along with the Chinese characters for day and night, capture the balance and interconnectedness of life; the fish motifs honor the artist’s roots and family legacy, while the sun and moon symbolize strength and calmness. Circles represent harmony and balance and ladybugs add a touch of good luck. The vibrant colors and imaginative details reflect the artist’s passion for art and culture. Through “Yin Love,” Yin Lu invites us into her world of memories, symbolism and artistic expression.
