Roots

This work intertwines the theme of personal identity and memory with the search for an abstract and suspended reality. The landscape and nature act as a glue that connects the territory of belonging, in this case Albania, and the individual, expressing a sense of ambiguity and daily disorientation. The material used is a material that is now lifeless, but is somehow reminiscent of life and the very origin of nature, a metaphor for the ‘origin of the artist.
